Welcome to exploring yoga therapy with me! I am Barb Gibson, Certified Viniyoga Therapist (C-IAYT), and I am so pleased to help assist you in your wellness journey. Yoga therapy is a powerful tool to learn how to help yourself become better able to manage your conditions and empower you to learn more about yourself improving your overall wellness. Some of the things I specialize in is helping people manage and decrease physical pain such as chronic low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, S/I misalignment and pain, pain and discomfort due to structural misalignment, fibromyalgia and other consistent global body pain, chronic illness, as well as emotional and mental well-being to learn how to become more comfortable with whatever life brings you and increase your vibrancy in life. Helping others to increase and manage energy is paramount to me so we also focus on topics such as stress management and sleep wellness to help you feel better and improve your quality of life. I am highly-skilled with working with the musculoskeletal system and the biomechanics of the body as well as with conditions that affect the physiology of our bodies and will help you find more functional movement patterns and activities as you gain more awareness of your body and system to guide our work together. I am so honored to help others be better-equipped to face life's challenges and flow more easily with life in the physical, mental, and emotional parts of ourselves.
