Good sleep is paramount for optimal health and wellness and affects hormone levels, mood, weight, and overall function and quality of life. Yoga techniques have been found to help promote both better sleep and reduce stress to help improve quality of sleep. Harvard Medical School found that 55% of people who used yoga techniques improved their sleep and over 85% reduced their stress and new studies published in the National Institutes of Health database show a positive link between yoga and sleep improvement and neuroendocrine stress response.

In this two-hour workshop, you will receive:

Class themes such as yoga for chronic low back pain, upper back, neck and shoulders, knee pain and health, hip health, establishing functional movement patterns, decrease chronic pain, chronic fatigue, arthritis, sleep wellness, chronic stress/depression/anxiety, healthy aging, balance and strength, increased vitality, etc. will be facilitated by our certified yoga therapist, Barb Gibson, C-IAYT, MS, to help participants receive focused attention while they work towards their goals in each class.
